Exciting new development coming to the park this summer
Earlier this year, planning approval was granted by the Cairngorms National Park Authority for an exciting new development at the park. As work begins from late April and continues over the summer months, guests may see or hear some of the planned groundworks taking place.
The development works will be carried out in the field to the south of the caravan park, in front of the pod area, and in the field beyond the fence from the non-electric tent area.
All groundworks are scheduled to take place during the working week, from Monday to Friday, between 8.45am and 4.30pm.
The new development will create 18 additional pitches, which are planned to be used as seasonal pitches. This will in turn free up 18 extra touring pitches within the original area of the park, helping to increase availability for visiting guests.
The development will also include 6 new holiday lodges, which are currently being built by lodge manufacturer Island Leisure in Perthshire.
Each lodge will have two bedrooms, made up of one double room and one twin room, making them ideal for families, couples, or small groups. They will also include a shower room with a shower, toilet and washbasin, along with an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area designed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
These new lodges will be added to our booking system later in the year, once the development has been completed.
Island Leisure has also produced an artist’s impression showing how the lodges are expected to look in their new surroundings once the project is finished.
