Our new lodges, called ‘hoosies’ after the local Doric word for a small house or cottage, provide comfortable accommodation for a relaxing break on the edge of Braemar in Royal Deeside

All bed linen, pillows, towels, tea towels and oven mitts will be provided for your stay.

Each two-bedroom lodge features a main double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both containing built-in wardrobes. Both bedrooms are served by a modern shower room containing a large shower, toilet and washbasin.

The well-equipped kitchen is open plan to both the dining and living areas. Each kitchen has been fitted with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric hob and oven and a microwave. Everything you should need for a great comfortable stay.

The living room contains 2 comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV, a coffee table, and a nest of tables, and benefits from full-length glazed patio doors with west-facing panoramic views.

The dining area is furnished with a dining table and 4 dining chairs.

Our lodges are fully double glazed, and all rooms benefit from modern controllable electric radiators. All electric costs are included in your stay.

Bookings are available for stays of 3, 4 or 7 nights, with the following arrival and departure days:

• 3 nights: Friday to Monday
• 4 nights: Monday to Friday
• 7 nights: Saturday to Saturday

Arrival time is from 3pm and departure time is 10am.

A £250 housekeeping deposit will be requested prior to arrival.

If you are making a booking, please ensure you plan your journey to arrive no later than 8 pm. We cannot offer refunds for late arrival or arrival on the wrong date.
