Salmon and Trout fishing opportunities are first class on Invercauld Estate. You can fish the river Dee accompanied by a Ghillie. The river operates a catch and release policy to ensure the future health of the rivers ecosystem.

There are also several hill lochs where fishing for Brown Trout is possible. The hill lochs are set in spectacular scenery, and are remote but well worth the effort to get there.

Fishings are available to let during the season on the Dee between Braemar and Ballater.
